GD Beauty World is Gemsri Daimari's studio. A working model and a familiar face across Guwahati and the wider Bodoland community, she spends her working life on the other side of the chair, lit, photographed, and held to a standard that doesn't forgive a rough edge.
She built the salon to run to that same standard. The brief was simple: one room where a bride, a first haircut, a brow correction and a colour job are all finished with the same care, by people who do that one thing all day.
She trained the room and still works it. When she's on the floor, you'll find her at the chair, not the front desk.
